GM Part Number for Stage Kit?
Guys,
Does anyone have any information as to when a part number is going to be released for this kit?
Or do we have to wait until sometime in July for that as well?
What happened to people that would like to pre-order the part so that the day it is released, it can be installed?
Or is this smoke and mirrors as well?
DON'T LIKE BEING KEPT IN THE DARK and SUPERCHIPS IS MUCH, MUCH CHEAPER.....

Nope. Believe it or not, we require a different kit. This is partially because we need a different tune for our particular configuration of the LNF (with the slightly different intake configuration from the HHR-SS, the intake issue, weight/load difference, auto/manual differences, and what not).
There might've been a chance that we would be able to utilize the same tune as the manual HHR-SS, but they're still too different to use the same tune apparently.

I may be wrong, but I think that July date was set back when the kit was all one piece including the intake. Once they realized that was too long and broke it into a Stage 1 and Stage 2 I think they said the Stage 1 would be in at the end of June.....but Im sure as hell not holding my breath.

Just a little tidbit of info here......
There are only 2 days left in june. If the kit is going to come out in 2-3 days. GM would have said something to get numbers on what their production numbers need to look like. They then would see if they needed to increase/decrease production, and see how many orders to put in with their parts suppliers. There is no pre-order, there is no OFFICIAL word from GM. This is all pretty much smoke and mirrors at this point, and with the takeover of GM, and this new climate bill that was unread and just passed, the likelihood of mass availability of this kit will be very limited.
Foot notes. GM would have let us know by now if the kit was arriving in the next couple of days.

FAIL FAIL FAIL
Guy's, thanks for all your feedback and enthusiasm. We are right there with you - as we are enthusiasts just like each of you. I wanted to jump in here and give you an update on where we are at with info on the kit.
There is no hiding that GM has gone through its fair share of some very rough times here this summer. In fact - GM has never been in a position like this in it's lifespan. So there are a lot of new things that they are learning as they go through everything that the Government is taking us through. With all of that, GM has stayed very focused and loyal to what and who they are. It's under more extreme pressure and harder to do things that have been easy in the past - but so is life right?
We are working hard to provide an update for you. Believe me, your thoughts are not falling on deaf ears. They are working as hard and fast as possible to be able to push this out for all of you. As you can imagine, there is more red tape for GM to do anything "normal" right now - given the state of affairs.
I ask that you be patient and stay tuned here for updated info. If you will give us that, I promise we will serve you with respect and the way we would want to be treated.
On the other hand, if you cannot wait and do not want to - we understand that as well. That is what is so wonderful about this country that we all live and work in - you have the free right to do what you feel is best for you. We still respect that and always love to hear how you did with your upgrades and what worked and what didn't.
As for us, we are one of you. Normal Americans that are working as hard as we can to provide the best service as possible. We will not let that ever slip and will only get better over time. Thank you for all of your continued support and love that most of you share with us. The feeling is very mutual.
Have a great day. We are back to work to hunt down what you are all waiting patiently for!
