If you want to keep your warranty... HELL YES!

And you can always tune on top of it for some more power.

700? CED has them for $465 or 480 something insanely cheap. Install should be around 2 hours, so like 100-200. I installed my own sensors though and just drove to a gm dealer and had them flash it.

I meant all together like ced is 485-495 shipped i believe then like 200 for install i would love to install it myself and just pay for the flash but if something happens i wouldnt want it to come back on me i know it saves your warrenty and all but dont you need it installed by the dealer to keep it under warrenty and did you just drive it to the dealer without being in boost at all then and get the flash.. how hard were they to install?

took me about 3 hours but I went really slow. The hard part is the cold side (bottom) sensor. its just awkward to get too specially when the car is only on ramps. I dont trust a dealer with my car, so thats why I did it that way. If the dealer has installed it before you should be ok. Theres been some horror stores about it on this site...and it doesnt surprise me.

This is probably a stupid question but because you installed it yourself does it matter to them warrenty wise? Its an option i might take if it doesnt matter im in school for automotive i would feel comfortable doing it myself i just thought they had to install it for warrenty purposes

it doesnt matter who installs the parts, but you still need them to flash it.

bill the gmpp engineer said no. As long as its installed properly it will be covered. Call the dealer and ask if they have installed them before, if so then its easier to trust them. If you are the first....mmmm ya dunno then :P Usually it just gets miss wired.

Just out of curiosity why spend an assload for GM stg. 1 when you can go with trifecta or hp tuners, ur warranty is down the drain anyways with the bolt ons, could've saved way more money and also have a GT tuner along with the tune, and then re-flash it back to stock just in case u need warranty check.

So its not hard to install the stage 1 and its warrentied then if you install it and how much do they charge for the flash? do you just have to stay out of boost on the way to the dealer then and it wont through cels?

This is true but the sensor can read higher boost and the reflash also change things you will not be able to with the trifeca or hp tuners plus I have hp tuners and it's still on beta god knows for how long I also heard several cobalts with terifeca tune has blown some motors

i guess so but the ones with trifecta are mostly the people run high psi like over 24 or infinitune, but like I said if u do blow the motor all u do is reflash it and get the warranty work done.
