okay does anyone know anything about this new kit GM is comin out with for the ss/tc??

-will it be under warranty?

-how much of a HP/TQ gain is it suppose to give the ss/tc?

-and roughly how much is it gonna cost??

it will prolly be the same as hhr and solstice 290hp
and with injen intake and hahns full exhaust u should be around 310whp

 

1) should be. its realeased by GM, its just some new sensors to read higher boost levels and a tune

2) 290HP CRANK

3) i'm not sure if a price has been released yet but im gonna say around $550 to $600+installation to keep warranty

the way it is supposed to be is if it comes installed when you purchase the vehicle, warranty on the stage kit lasts the life of the powertrain warranty. if you get a dealer to install it after, you have a 12 month parts warranty on the stage kit while still retaining factory warranty

 

show me someone who makes 310 whp. I havent seen a ss/tc in the 300 whp range with those mods

 

no way dude, a full custom tuned one that has charge piping, intake, big FMIC, DP, and cat-back made 310whp. that is with psychotune's tune on it

stage 1 gives 30hp CRANK
Turbo back exhaust give about 15hp CRANK
which give or take would give over 290-300whp cuz we are fwd so u lose less to the ground

and I wasnt talking about hte GM tune dum dum. Any tune for that fact. I bet the GM makes the LEAST out of the tunes that are out, like hahns and psykosteve's (which makes the most by going by what I have seen).

dude a janetty cat-back and tune give 288whp/317wtq
so its not like its impossible for intake, full exhaust, and stage 1 to make 290-300whp
