God i love not having a car payment until deb. Horray for capital one taking forever ahaha
If that's for your Evo I wouldn't go with an ACT, they're prone to tranny lock out. If you haven't looked QTP has an electric cut-out d/p. Makes me miss my old car.

yea its for my evo...and yea i know about the lockout, but if they are adjusted right they work perfectly fine. Plus this is just gunna be in the mean time, because then im going exedy twin disk

and im buying the cutout from jegs...then ill buy the electric part alittle later...so atleast ill have the cutout for when i go to the track

So you are going to buy an ACT, knowing the problems they have, only to turn around and buy an exedy twin?

THEY dont have problems...mainly the 2600 is known for it....and you wanna pay 1500 plus intall for a clutch right now?? dont htink so...the ACT will hold to about 500 wtq...if i need to i wil lget the exedy later in life, not a problem..but in the mean time im gunna get a practical clutch for cheap

Depending on the model of the ACT you get, it wont be bad for you then. Just dont expect to get off clean high rpm shifts if you drag race. I am probably doing a clutch install this spring. Every shop i talk to says to go for the Exedy twin HD for no problems. Ya, you have to pony up some ching now, but its done once and done right. Im not gonna mess around with any of those other garbage clutches. Plus, you can buy replacement plates for the Exedy.

I hear ya, but I dont know if you've ever heard of AWD motorsports, but they even recommended it to me, an also 4wstuning(tamer). If i get the right one, without the fidanza flywheel, and its bleed correctly then it will not lock out, or be hard to shift. If its done correctly, it will be fine, there is plenty of proof on that. Especially the heavy duty models.

The cut-out is going to sound sick in your car. Someone I know had one. Depending on where you go to get the clutch done be looking to spend around a grand for install.
