GM Stage kit Dyno proof

Is there any Dyno proof on the GM stage kit for stock car vs the kit? Looking for WHP and WTQ? not what GM says.

nah I think its a good question. As of now I would say no considering the stage kit is not out yet. However when it does come out I would love to see a dyno vid of the car with the tune....eventually it will come (hint... hint... SMOG)

I know that I'm not exactly the same as the Cobalts, but I dynoed mine bone stock and then after the Stage kit on the same dyno. Stock I put down a best of 245WHP and 261WTQ, Staged I put down a best of 278WHP and 297WTQ.

I have a 2009 HHR SS.

Hell, badbaltguy doesn't even have a dyno yet and he's got an aftermarket tune.

600 or so bux for 30 HP & 30 TQ , along w/ maintaining the full warranty ? I'm in !

I would like to know WTF is going through the peon's heads at CARB, though.

The LNF setup in the ' 09 HHR is 100% the same as the Balt's - to my knowledge, anyhoo.

If that is accurate, then WTF - if one is approved, all should be approved.

Gawddam tree huggers makes things so friggin' complex when it should not be ...

Or if you were lucky like me I spent a total of $375 for the gm kit new from a guy on ebay (he use to sell them regularly) and had it installed on my HHR SS at the dealer, I spent total with install $500. Cheaper then what most people can even get the kit for.

^^ That's great for you and your irrelevant post, but we're all COBALT owners here ...

Do me a favor and grab the panties out of your butt crack.
Thought I'd help you out by telling you to find the kit on ebay, but go spend your +500 on it from a vendor plus install. In case you didn't know you use the exact same kit part # as I do, your just waiting on carb approval for the flash. Hence why I put in parentheses he use to sell them all the time.

If you could get the sensors for 375, ... I'd do it. I bet GM won't sell those sensors that cheap as a service part.

thanks

Thanks Dr Jekyll. I think that the cobalt and HHR should be about the same results. I am in 3 inchs of snow right now so next spring I will install this kit IF GM EVER GETS IT OUT. gotta love warranty. Nice dyno numbers for a slick 4 door.

cheers

Shane
