Not bad considering what they were advertising for BHP; thanks for taking the time and putting down the cash to run 'er through once . I def dont need that 325wtq this winter, but next spring is a different story!

good looking number, i really didnt expect it to be that good.

BTW i think this is in the appropriate thread, i know your gunna say "well we have a dyno thread"
**** it, stop bitching for the hell of it. I wanted to know this and i would have never looked in the dyno thread. Im sure plenty of people with the "LNF" wanted to know and see the first dyno for the GMS1 hence why its in the LFN section. so i will respectably say to you **** off!

And to clarify that was to you Colejjones, who i think is full of **** saying "i had the GMS1 a week earlier than any dealership in the world did" You do know that none of the dealerships had the tune a week ago, it wasnt sent to them GM didnt send it to them early. every dealer got it the same day, the day it was released. arent I smart.. i hate you already...

Made a huge difference on my car. (just installed today) The midrange is way stronger. The engine also seems to run smoother.

this is only if they are regularly calibrated and maintained.

People like this shouldn't be allowed to post EVER. Do you know how stupid you sound to everyone here that has been following the GM tune and the release of it?

Yup, I got it dyno'd with Keith down at AZ Dyno Chip, the place you told me about. Really cool guy, happy to lay some knowledge on me and give me tips for my car, which I definitely appreciated.

Thanks for all the positive comments everyone! I'm starting a new thread now since I went to the track last night...not sure if I should be happy or not, but I was easily cutting .3s off my 1/4 mile time. I really thought I could do better. I don't have timeslips up or anything, but it was nitrous funny car night so I only got a couple runs, but when I went pre-stage kit I was averaging ~14-14.1s and trapping around 103. My first run was a 13.9, my next two were 13.7's. To give a bit more of an idea, there was a brand new Mustang GT that pulled up next to me. I talked to the guy afterwards, and when his wife saw what he was pulling up next to, she laughed and said "Oh, you'll smoke this guy!" 4-door grocery getter cobalt. Anyways, I ran a 13.71 and he ran a 14.1. I trapped 106.

Like I say, I really thought I'd be at 13.5 easy, so I'm not sure if I should be happy, and if I had gotten a good run in I'm sure I would have been, but, next time I guess!

Nice numbers!!! With CAI and exhaust you are looking at 10-15 hp gain from those so making more than 280/320 as GM claims to the wheels makes the claimed gains as good if not better than speculated. Good job on the dyno numbers. So for all the people looking for STG 1 only numbers just take a 15 hp off for good measure for his mods and you are at 270WHP. Compared to stock 240's range people have seen at the dyno it more than meets our expectations. So numbers seem more like 30HP and 60TQ from the STG 1 alone. Yes, I get to keep my warrnty. Not rich like all the others who can afford to throw away their factory warrnties with aftermarket tunes.

you don't, but coming on here, saying yeah I had and it wasn't good enough is like a 5th grader saying he has a girlfriend, but she's from Canada so you wouldn't know her.

It's worthless

I'd be interested in hearing more about that tune...maybe it's something I'd like to do with my car. Can you post some details?

Tyler let me drive his today after the autox we were in... DEFINATE difference for the good. On initial 'stomp' (from a roll) it felt about the same, but as soon as boost got up there...WOW. Incredible.

Thanks again Tyler.

1. I didn't do a baseline dyno. So...yeah...
2. I do have an AEM CAI and an exhaust. I don't have a downpipe, so I don't know how much the exhaust helps...yet.
3. Each dyno is different. Every car is different. These numbers aren't the end all be all, but just a point of reference. I did this in Phoenix, at 86F, with 4% humidity, ~1100 ft elevation, on a dynojet dyno.
4. I have the graph. Now. I turned off smoothing so it looks rough. No more waiting.

286whp!!! 325wtq!!!! I love you GM Stage kit...I love you.
Not bad but I dont think everyone else should expect those numbers. Because realistically, it should be 260-270 whp and 280-290 wrtq on an otherwise stock car. If you put the smoothing to 5 I bet it loses 6 whp and about the same torque.
