Gms1 questions ?

So i did search. But I couldn't really find the answers I was looking for. So I'm wondering if you guys can help me out. I just had gms1 installed on my car last week. And I'm seeing about 19-20 psi of boost. Does that seem about right? I'm totally other then the stage kit and an oil catch can. I thought that the stage one kit would boost a little
higher. But maybe I'm wrong. And for all the Canadians. Its about 135-140 kpa.

Really , Okay that makes me feel a little better. For some wierd reason I thought it should be up around 21-23 psi after the GM tune. I don't know why. I guess I have ssen to many youtube videos of cobalts pushing 20+ psi and have gotten the hptuned and trifecta tunes confused with the gms1.

Hmm, that's strange because I have GMS1 and I can hit 23 psi.

It all depends on factors like elevation, heat , etc

When should the car be hitting higher boost levels? In the hot summer days. It the cold winter days? And i might be mis-taken. But I think I hit 160 kpa once and only once in forth gear. For just a few seconds. I think....

So what should someone see higher boost levels in ? Hotter days or colder days. And as for elevation. I'm at sea level. The ocean is all of about a ten minute drive from my town. Lol

I would think that you get more boost in hot weather and less boost in cold weather. Since the air is more dense when it's colder outside, it will take less boost to produce the max power you can generate on a hot day.

on a stock tune i see everything from 12psi to 18psi depending on if i'm at 6000ft elevation and 75 degrees or 12psi when it was bone stock and 28* degrees outside at 700ft elevation

My GMS1 was about 20 psi maybe 21-22 spike but 19-20 hold until higher rpm. I'm also at 2500ft above sea level and it doesn't get to hot up at my house on top of the mountain.

It can hit 25 psi under the right circumstances. Have done it multiple times. 20-22 seems normal for my area.
