GMS1 with Trifecta.

What are the benefits of upgrading to GMS1 3 Bar sensors with Trifecta on the LNF?

I did a re-search on this but allot of random stuff with no direct answer.

Thanks

Some will say that we "blow" the factory MAP sensors with the 24 PSI Trifecta tune, but the truth of the matter is that oil is usually what causes them to fail. Vince can tune around the 2 bar factory sensors if you're going with Trifecta, so you don't really need the 3 bar sensors. If you look up a lot of the GMS1 threads about 3 bar sensor issues, you'll figure out that you're more likely to have problems with those because they weren't designed to fit on our cars. The sensors don't have a 90 degree plug, so the coldside plug rubs against the condenser line.

I never had any issues with the factory map sensor at 23 psi but, the 3 stg sensors can hold up to 27 psi, at least that's what the GM techs are saying, also GM fixed that problem with the plugs and condenser a long time ago. You could also run the GMS1 tune normally and have Vince tune you by pressing the TC button twice or by holding it down for 5 sec. And you'll have both the GM and Trifecta tune if its possible. An idea I'm also considering.
