Angry going mad....

guys, I need some help, im about to rip all my hair out. what im having seems like a super simple and easily fixable solution, but its not quite that. car was running great on my way home the other day, next morning went to start it up and it died. after some thinking I unplugged the MAF and it started up and ran great, plugged it back in and it died. I checked the intake tract and found no leaks. so i figured it was a maf issue, replaced it and still the same thing. ran the scan tool on it and a MAP voltage problem was there, replaced that, still the same. it runs great, even gained some MPG, but it bothers me. im going to remove the intake tubes entirely and check to make sure there are no holes that I could not visibly see before, and I also have a new MAF adapter on the way. in the meantime, does ANYONE have any ideas for me before I blow my brains out?

MAF Adapter. Get rid of it. Pull the wires out of the harness for it to reach the relocation.

Also, sometimes a lower t-MAP will do this.

Where is your maf located? I'm assuming by the intake tract comment it's the intake. I'd check to make sure you don't have a leak in your intercooler piping, since the maf plugged in it will run like poo or not at all, but once you disconnect the maf it runs fine.

Next question what codes are registering? Actual code readout

Do you remember the code you were throwing?

P0101 by any chance? It's usually a boost leak, not a bad MAF

you know, I didn't think it was a boost or a piping issue since im holding boost, but now that you mention that aspect I do recall that a clamp on the piping wasn't tight and blew off whilewe had it on the dyno. we retightened it but Im wondering now if there is an issue there. another thing to go over. thanks for that

Between the MAF code and what you just said, sounds like a boost leak to me.

The ZZP MAF adapters are ****; I went through three of them and they call caused MAF codes.
