I live in ny, I'll prob get that rust. Yeah I got all the way in and wasn't sure how to get to the lower part. And the tire shop over tightened my lugs so now I'm putting it back together to get that fixed not to mention I woke up to a flat tire, not my day.I'll pull the headlight out tonight, thanks

Seems to be that everyones HAHN intakes fit a little different, some fit horribly and some are just fine, mine was fine, didn't rub anything and the installs pretty straight forward.

Pop the headlight out (carefully, dont scratch the paint) then put that rubber gasket around that hole that the old intake used to go through. "dunk" the hahn tube into that hole, might need to twist and wiggle the tube around but it will sit in there. Theres also a bracket with a bolt on the tube that bolts up to a hole in the wall. You'll have to cut the wire loom a bit and bring the MAF down as well, I didn't have any C.E.L's but some members apparently did.

I just took the advice from everyone here, sold the hahn intake and got a K&N, much much louder & looks nicer
