Help?

Ok, 2008 SS/TC. Im buying piece by piece DeJon IC pipes form a friend. I have the hot side with HKS SSQV Anniversary BOV on the car now. I dont have the short ram on yet, and i dont have the cold side pipe on yet. Now, QUESTION IS: Why does my BOV not make any noise until I hit 15psi like 10 times? Its like it wont blow off when its "cold". NEXT: The BOV is sorta loose on the pipe. Would that have affect on the situation? If so then im going to order an o-ring, and a new ring clamp. Anyone with this problem or a quick fix/help, input is welcome, even if you find this hilarious and want to flame me for not knowing. I dont know EVERYTHING about my car still. Thanks guys! Hope i can get this issue resolved!

I do have vac lines, and its not loose to where it moves around, but you can move it by hand sort of easily. And JB weld does do work, but it will not be put on the cobalt haha. And I hadthis same bov on my civic. It was really really tight and was a bitch to put on.

No offense but lack of information leads to lack of answers.
Like you said fix the BOV being loose and recheck your vac lines.

No no, I understand, I just figured maybe someone with the same issue might recognize the problem. Im going to go over my vac lines, and try to order the kit from HKS for the BOV.

Ok, I give up. I have everything tight, working fine, and all of a sudden out of no where, it just quits making noise and blowing off...Im about to trade my pipes for non BOV pipes. Or sell and re-buy.

The black "T" fitting is for the BOV vac. I took it all apart today, and tightened it up, made sure it was all leak free. It doesnt make sense to me? Unless my BOV is fucked?

Before you start saying that. Try what Chinelli said about the vac lines. Put a T into the vac line that goes to the stock BPV and then to your HKS.

I sent you a PM.

I was running a block off plate then I took it off. I haven't had any problems with my bov or bpv since. The way I told you to run lines is exactly how I have it set up on my car right now
