Ok so I was driving home from the gym today merging on to the highway and suddenly my car started bogging bad. I pulled over got out and checked everything and everything seemed fine... When I got back in and pushed in the clutch it bogged a little again and was idling pretty rough. So I got back out to check everything again and there was really nothing I could do so I got back in. It didn't bog after that but no boost is being made the highest my gauge would go to is 5psi in vacuum. I have the car up on jack stands now and checked all my intercooler piping and it all seems pretty stiff... I don't know what else to check for.. If anyone could tell me what's wrong with it or something for me to check that would be great.
You are currently in limp mode due to a boost leak, most likely. "Merging on to the highway" is my way of saying I was in it pretty hard. Do you have a service engine light? Do you have the ability to run a boost-leak check?
I actually wasn't in it that hard but apparently my car is all better now. After I checked all my vacuum lines i took it back off the stands and drove it around and it was fine. I'm pretty sure my MAF sensor is going bad. The CEL isn't on but the car is shooting out a P0101 Mass Air Flow code.
