Help ASAP

So I am almost done putting the K&N intake on and the crank case vent hose does not match in size to the supplied nipple on the intake tube....am I stupid and doing it wrong?

Does it fit over it, if it just slides on and back off you need to get you some line thatll fit onto the nipple and basically make your own setup.!!

I've never seen this before. It SHOULD fit... Take a few pics and post them here.

If it was a mix-up from K&N, then you can either call them and work out an exchange or, like said, make your own setup.

Wow, that's a new one!

I would call them or whoever you bought it from and get it exchanged. No point in going out and fixing something that should be right brand new

Yup, they packaged the wrong fitting. Sucks but easily fixable. It'll just take them a few days to get it out to you, I would think.

Call and get it straightened out.

Thanks for all the replies...I knew if I posted Asap I would get more responses. Cars back to stock and waiting on K&N to get back to Aaron with TTR. I know without a tune I wont see much improvement, but atleast its a start. My question is will I see anything in possibly building boost faster?

You will hear a difference Especially the first time you do a cold start.

Honestly, i think the car is smoother down low with the K&N when creeping around parking lots and things.

Goddammit! I wish I would have seen this post before I started mine. I have the exact same problem and ordered mine from TurboTech too. Must be a bad batch. Crap-now I have to **** around putting it back to stock and wait another week before I can fix this. Guess I expected more out of K&N...

PM recieved.

If this happened to anyone else, that ordered directly from us, please let us know via PM, we will work with you and K&N to resolve the issue.

This is the FIRST time we have ever had K&N make a mix up... Out of 1,000's sold.

Very strange...I mean what other application is there for a nipple like that? I wounder if it was put on backwards..although both ends *look* to be the same diameter.

On closer inspection it does look like the other bonded end is smaller in diameter:
