Ronn, the other end is threaded and threads into the intake tube so there's really no way it could be backwards. I even thought maybe they wanted us to take the retainer out of the quick release but even then it would have been too small. Not sure what this piece goes to. it appears similar but just way too big. Maybe a V-8 or something?

 

Yeah...but I'm thinking they threaded the wrong end.

 

I wanna thank Turbotech also for dealing with me haha I am impatient and just cant wait to hear this damn thing on the car and not sitting on the seat of my truck....

 

Just got off the phone with K&N and they will be over nighting the part.....so hopefully tomorrow evening it will be in....

 

They're sending me one too. Didn't offer to overnight it though. You must have been more pissed than me on the phone Doesn't matter. I don't have time to mess with it til Thursday anyway.

 

They said overnight...but I just saw that they are located in California so I dont see it getting to MD by tomm....

 

Well got the part in 24 hours from Cali. like K&N promised and damn was it worth the wait. Sounds good...cant wait for a tune now...
