got hp tuner and it is not reconizing the code plus it wont connect to the car help please

Almost positive you have not loaded your drivers for the cable. Check your device manager and see if anything USB does not have a driver. when its connected.


And contact HP tuners if you just got it from them. You make it sound like you did and they are not helping which dont make sense at all.

 

Like ulwiz said make sure drivers are working. Go on hptuners forum and follow the directions they give you for your computer setup.

Yeah come to think of it I downloaded the software and had the same issue with my driver.
Had to put the CD in and then go to device manager and tell it to update the driver.

My key worked though. When you say the key didn't work, what did you mean?
When the software asked you to install it, it did or did not take the key then?
