There were no installation instructions??

I wouldn't plug a vac line. You could T into it instead unless you're saying that the line you want to remove is no longer being used by what it was originally attached to.

If you run the BOV off straight VAC off the IM like you intend to do, then that controller becomes null and void. You wouldnt use that boost controller anymore because its not seeing VAC anymore so it has nothing to reference. What you would do is keep the lines connected an T into that line if Im not mistaking.

I will pay someone to design an installation diagram regarding vacuum lines on the cobalt, this is a common problem, and any line that is not right, throws car into limp mode so easily, plus there are so many lines and sensors that either need to be tuned out or correctly hooked up

BOV installation
Bypass
sensors
vacuum canister

all need to be gone through and explained in detail what they do, and where all lines go
especially if someone is going with aftermarket turbo, or wastegate set up

any takers?

The line coming off the lower charge pipe goes directly to the boost controller, then from boost controller to wastegate. The bpv solenoid is completely disconnected from vacuum/boost. Bypass the vacuum tank and hook the bov directly in the top of the manifold.

Lol it is so easy though.. if a bov is used the vacuum tank gets deleted. And therefore the hose coming from the charge pipe goes to the bottom of that Pid controllter. The top and side of Pid, can be jointed together using a vacuum line or blocked off with capps. Then to bov, it need the straight vacuum source onto intake manifold. ...

Send me a kit and I'll write the most detailed, photographic instructions you've ever seen. See the clutch one I had a hand in..... :-)
