differences in crankshafts for our lnf's?

differences in crankshafts for our lnf's?

is there a major difference if any from the crankshaft that comes in our cars compared to a bought brand new one? it looks as if my brand new one that has the correct part number and the one that was already ion the car are pretty different. any input on this would be greatly appreciated!! thanks guys!

If you called a dealership and gave them your VIN to get the part number for your crankshaft, you likely have the right one. That's not 100% though as sometimes parts people make mistakes.

If you did something other than that you may have the incorrect part.

ya i found the problem they sent me a 2.2 crankshaft instead of the lnf even though the part number on the outside of the crank box was correct, they just put the wrong part in the box.

have the builder weight it they should be close in weight

Oh I did use the stock crankshaft. I just bought a new one because of the whole oil pump incident a while back the friction literally welded the rod bearings to the crank. So I bought a new one but the wrong crank was shipped in the right part number box, which was why I asked the question but after some time noticed what was all wrong. The stock crankshaft is extremely strong and should have to be replaced
