HHR SS, CAI any out there?

Has any company actually designed a CAI for the HHR SS? Ive searched and found alot of talk about companies making them but that is as far as it went to be honest

Theres no cold air for the van and wont be. Its nothing but mostly old people that drive them and wouldnt get them. The stock setup we have works quite well. I had a true cold air that Secret Services out of texas made but sold it. It dropped to the left of the intake mani in front of the grille.

^^ Aside from that you're only other option is the K&N intake. All it is is a new redesigned tube from the stock box to the turbo, a new filter and new filter box cover. The enginebay desgn in the HHR's won't allow for a true CAI like in the Cobalts; our giant windshield washer reservoir is in the way. Like Bart said our stock setup is actually pretty efficient. Make note that even if you have the GMTU, you'll get the best gains from a CAI with a tune.

Yes I am well aware of the effecency of our stock system...

It is just not very pleasing to the eye and makes maintenence a lil harder than it should be.

there is no where for a cai to exit the engine bay on the hhr. and yes the washer reservior gets in the way....i had to remove it for my sri setup

cut a hole in the hood and have the filter sticking out. ultimate RAM COLD AIR INTAKE combined into one!!!!! dyno gains of like 80rwhp

Hey matty so since i cut the plastic next to the radiator tell me where it took air from when i was moving??? Either way **** it lol it was useless and its now gone... it was on the car for a whole 2 days
