Hit the track again going for more 11s...

...but the track was not on the same page.

We drove up to the Mid-Michigan Motorplex on Sunday to see if we could put down a couple more 11 second passes. With sixty foots a tenth and a half slower than what we put down at US131, there was really no chance of running 11s. I ran 24" slicks this time, so I had to shift into 4th. The first pass, I shifted slow and only had 40% throttle in 4th gear. The time was a 12.3 at 111. For the second pass, I went no-lift on the shifts and ran 12.18 at 114.4.

In search of better sixty foots, we tried out a wheelie bar we have left over from this Impala- http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnGK3_hFH48
but there was too much flex where the tabs are attached, so the sixty foots did not improve. We took the wheelie bar off and ran a couple more 12.2s. It was spinning the slicks half way through 2nd gear, so we called it a day.

No IC yet. We are still trying to source better deals so we can bring a premium IC to market for less $.

Those centerlines are stupid light.

In order to fit em, don't you have grinded down LSJ brakes?
