How can I get one of those LNF motors making 1000+ hp and 9700 rpms? Cost?
I am thinking about buying an LNF motor for my kit car, because I recently heard about what the GM ECOTEC can do. According to many articles and posts the crazy little motors can make over 1400 hp and rev to 10000 rpms? I don't need that much power, but I'd love to see those revs and a decent amount of power. Is there somewhere I can get a motor and turbo built to make/take this kind of power and revs? It said it was a 2.0 turbocharged ECOTEC, am I looking for an LNF or a different motor? If I can't buy a pre-built motor, Is there somewhere I can get a kit to build it up, a turbo kit, the injectors, or parts for this build? Is there a recommended tuner(s) to get the job done? What kind of money would I be looking at If I were to want like 600-800 hp and a 9700 rpm redline (approximately)? THANKS!!!

Grrr I saw that, but I was hoping someone knows of a tuner who has done this and knows where to get the parts, because if I do all this on my own Its bound to be a catastrophe. Im not really an expert, or anywhere near it, so I was hoping someone knows of an experienced tuner?

the nhra cobalt was running 600 hp first gear 800 second and 1000 hp third I believe because it would never move with 1000hp in first gear lol.. But no 2.0l engine at 1000hp is more than 5 minutes away from a rebuild.

There is no such LNF, ZZP is working on the only set of cam phasers that allow an LNF to rev past 7400 rpm and still make power. also the LNF is direct injection....no one has developed new, larger injectors for the LNF yet but now LSJ on the other hand would be a lot easier and ZZP could tell you how to build an LSJ with the specs you have mentioned..

are you a troll? you posted this almost exact same question in the LSJ tech forum here.
What you are asking for is a full blown drag car setup in a kit car, if you have $100k in the bank more power to you but I dont think you are going to see what you are looking for.

We are currently pushing around 750-775 hp at the flywheel on my LNF Cobalt. With about 100 less hp, it pushed 60-125 times similar to a Veyron. Assuming that your kit car would be quite a bit lighter, just how fast are you looking to go?
Personally, I would stick with an LNF for a build like this. We could get you into something with 500+ whp that still gets over 30mpg.
