How fast do u go through meth?

Finally got around to installing my meth kit tonite/this afternoon, and some how I've gone through 2.5 gals in less then 3 total hours driving. Is that normal? I got on it about 10-15 times and running the devils own kit with the d03 nozzle.

how hard were u driving anyway, if u rip on ur car for 3 hours then ya ull go threw it fast, i put an on/off switch for when i didnt want to use meth on mine, saved alot of meth

I was ripping on it the whole three hours. Most of the time was cruising. I know when my pump is on and when it's at full spray, stg 2 devils own kit, but I'm almost wondering if it's running without lighting the led. I didnt get a retune yet but it does seem to have a bad stumble in first......

what boost level is it set to? and make sure ur light is connected right. do u have a check valve so it doesnt leak meth slowly when its not activated?? if u dont, get one.

this, you really shouldnt be going through it that fast but it all depends on nozzle size and such.

It's set to come on at 10-11psi and full at 16-17psi. Today I didnt get on it once, burned though a gallon with NO activation lights. I was doing a little reading on the devils own web site forum, I might have a bad/poor connection at my 0-5v boost signal causing the system to run. My question is wouldn't the controller lights still come on if it was spraying?

check your check valve. you are more then likely pulling it through while you are cruising. do you have a wideband? if so you are probably running richer then you were before right?

turn your car on and remove the hose and see if it's spraying..
If it was spraying at idle, you would know, it shouldn't be..
2 1/2 gallons is a **** ton of meth though, you must have been driving her hard..

I have a 3 quart tank and it will last me a solid week with a lot of spirited driving.

I will need to get a bigger tank if I want to take it the nurburgring though

I don't a check vavle installed. I would figure it wouldnt use any meth unless the pump was on.....As far as wideband wise it just runs rich at wot and in first gear. I'm just watching a/f through my Aeroforce....

you NEED a check valve...thats where yours is going then. true that the pump is not running but with the engine running you are pulling a vacuum through the meth hose. that is pulling it through the pump and the tank. install a check valve and you will be good to go.

Alright I guess I never looked at it like that. I just finished it up yesterday and I will getting retuned for it on Tuesday as long as my tuner is still available. So I know I'm not get the max benefit yet.

Does it matter where I install the check valve? Can it be installed near my pump or should it be towards the engine?

mines towards the engine.. Not sure if it matters..
Someone should be able to give two cents about that..


With it being towards the engine you can check it and make sure nothing is clogging it.. It's more convenient.

Yea it would just be 1,000x easier to install it by my pump is back in the trunk. I just wouldn't want it to get air in the line. Idk. I'm new to all this meth stuff, lol. Live and you learn.

I don't think air will make a difference, where the meth sits, it's just air being sucked into the engine. Then there is the meth.

A little air in the line isn't going to be a big deal.
