Just before the nozzle ... you want to limit the residual meth in the line that the motor could suck up in vacuum.

Well how about the new problem I've caused myself. When i reinstalled the line to the pump, the bulkhead fitting moved just a bit. Now I have a leak. Any ideas on how to seal it back up? Btw I have the stainless braided line upgrade and the directions say not to use teflon tape, just like it said "DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN." god I could kick myself right now.......

Your honestly lucky you didn't pull to much and blow the motor. Since you weren't running a check valve

I can try and get a pic later, at work at the moment. I believe it's a -06 or -04 an fitting that threads into the outlet port of the meth pump....I'll try to get a picture up in a few.

Is it leaking on the pump side or the hose side?

Pump side. I tired some expoxy on it to see if it will seal the threads. I made sure to not put any too close to where the meth travels through. Devils own says not use Teflon tape so I didn't, lol.

They really don't want anything on the threads for the exact reason you mentioned, you don't want that plugging up your lines that starts a whole new head ache. Hopefully this works and you have no issues. But If it still leaks obviously replace that adapter and hope it didn't screw up the threads on the pump. How does this seal? Does it use an o-ring or does it depend on the threads? Mine is a plastic line press connect fitting.

It seals with the threads and I put it far enough away from where the meth runs thru it. If you look at the second pic I posted I just put some on the last three or 4 threads towards where the black nut is. It should be far enough away that it shouldnt cause any problems. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.
