how to get to 400hp

i have a 09 ss i want it to be in the low 400 range, its my daily driver so reliably is a huge factor. i have "(from what i can tell cause i bought the car this way) charge pipes, intake, and some sort of tune i can hit 27psi if i really dig into it, e85 isnt an option by me. iv been looking at direct bolt on turbos but i honestly have no clue what im looking at big blocks are more in my realm. so any help with how to achieve my 400 marker would be greatly appreciated

Look into the Hahn S20g, ZZP's ZFR, or BNR's Bolt on turbos.

With the right turning, you can hit 400. Yes it's a slightly outdated turbo, and will most likely spool slightly slower than stock, but it'll still be an upgrade from stock, and you can hit 350 whp on the stock turbo pushing it. Talk to Chevycobaltss3 about it, I believe that's what he has.

Not at all. Was saying the 27 psi he is boosting is too much, and he needs a retune.

I think axles will be fine actually, but yes you will need a new clutch. The rest of the car should be fine. Tranny should be ok as long as you don't beat the hell out of it.

I dont think axles are necessary, could be wrong. just clutch and tune, and sticky tires

Oh i didnt read you wanted a direct bolt on before i misread it...Look into the new werks turbo that they have should be good for over 400 and e47 is a mix of e85 and 91 but you dont have e85 im terrible at reading haha

5557 you need basically everthing....charge pipe/manifold/wastegate/oil lines/intercooler/intake/tune..just look into the direct bolts on like zfr/werks/bnr try and snag a efr from zzp if you have the money when they have them at the end of this week
