How has everyones luck been with LDK block?

I am currently awaiting a brand new LDK block and ko4 turbo from ZZPerformance. Good or bad move?

ldk block is stronger than a lnf block. That's what everyone goes to when they start making more power. Your good.
Hope you didn't over pay for the k04.

You have non LDK pistons and rods (fyi OP)

the turbo was $500, block was $2000

I hope you didn't pay $2k just for the block because last time I looked you could get basically the whole motor for that.

idk.. it was the only thing on their website. I hope the block is all I need!!! Can I swap the block for my engine?

yeah long block for sure. How much of my old engine do I need to use for this swap???

Zzp sells the hole motor for 2k and they also sell just the block ( lower part of the motor without the head ) if your saying it comes with a new K04 then you got the hole engine . Only thing your gonna need is intake manifold , throttle body , fuel rail and injectors and if your gonna use your old injectors get new seals first ...

This is exactly what I got with an added turbo. My current engine is totally screwed, no compression in cylinder 4. so I hope I ordered the right thing.

Cobalt4209 got it correct. You got the long block setup, or basically a whole new motor. You will need what he said from the old motor, plus maybe your old exhaust manifold, can't remember, as the ldk manifold sets a little higher.

I bought my long block from Jeffrey but mine came with everything except the wiring harness. Came with a K04, Opel injectors, intake manifold, TB, the whole nine yards. 2200 shipped lol. Granted is was a black Friday deal at the time. I have the brand new never used LDK head still for sale BTW.
