how to make ur car slower
how to make ur car slower
buy a car that is trifecta tuned. enjoy the fast car. that leads to wanting more. install a k&n intake and email vince to get retuned. wait a decade for a response. notice knock during wot. find out trifecta locks the pcm making the $600 hptuners a door stop.
remove pcm and hit a grand slam with it. have dealer install new pcm.
connect hptuners to car and verify it will allow u to edit.....smile
enjoy slow car!
then contact terminator2 when funds allow and get a tune

you could have gotten a cable from trifecta on rent for free, unlocked the pcm, then gotten hp tuned. idk why you would bring it to the dealer to have a new pcm installed, but theres a good chunk of change down the *******
I've used Trifeca, haven't had any problems with Vince. My car runs great, is not slow, and Vince replies to my e-mails within a few hours.
I just think Vince doesn't want his work taken or modified which is why he locks the PCM. It’s actually smart from a business perspective. Trifecta is like a brand and not just tuning software. Then no one can mess with the tune and then blame Trifecta for their car running like crap.

If you buy hptuners you can tune through email with any of the hptuners willing to remote tune you. Pick one of the reputable tuners that remote tune, he sends you a base file you go datalog and email it to him, he sends you a revision and you go datalog and repeat the process until the tune is good. Best thing is you can log whenever. You don't have to meet or wait on anyone. You could learn to tune, easier said than done but there are people out there and reading material that will help you. Start off having someone that knows what theyre doing tune your car first though.
where's ccss3 when you need him
Trifecta is good, never had to wait more than a day for a reply and vince has done everything I asked.
Should have researched the car more before you went and bought hp tuners.

You gotta read my first post like that commercial of the Dodge Dart. LMAO!
Anyways i loved the trifecta tune....car was very responsive. BUT....I never resceived a email back. I mean i emailed the guy like million times. I even called and no one answered.
I also have a friend with the red cable and has access to get live tuning with Vince but by then i was already done with Trifecta.
I already owned HPtuners since I begin tuning my Turbo Z24 Cavalier in Speed Density....or atleast i begin to.
So I guess the bad customer service and already having the hptuners is why i decided to go this route.
The tune was great im not going to bash it.....car was very very quick with no mods what so ever all stock....but i did log knock....even before I installed the K&N intake. But the AFR's were good during WOT.
And I do have to say i did not notice a difference in gas mileage with the tune on or off.....just saying.

He is saying psi doesn't relate to horsepower. And in the case of his friend, he's running a lot more with less results. So psi isn't always indicative to the amount of power you are making.

Though, 22 psi dialed in proper vs 23 psi dialed in proper... You should be making more hp at 23 psi. It's all in the tuning, not %100 of the power comes from cranking the boost.
