how to make ur car slower
Well if anyone around you has Hptuners you could buy Credits to unlock your car and use their hpt to tune your car, but this may kill some of the convinience of it being yours and having access to it whenever. This is why they don't last very long when they pop up in classifieds.

I think you missed the point lol.
He is saying psi doesn't relate to horsepower. And in the case of his friend, he's running a lot more with less results. So psi isn't always indicative to the amount of power you are making.
Though, 22 psi dialed in proper vs 23 psi dialed in proper... You should be making more hp at 23 psi. It's all in the tuning, not %100 of the power comes from cranking the boost.

To which I responded by asking why people do that. I'm in agreement with you, that you cannot measure the quality or state of a tune simply by a PSI number.
Just so people know, Trifecta has vastly improved their turnaround time.
Also, if you noticed knock, why didn't you just make Vince fix it? You paid for his services after all... On top of that, you can simply reflash the ECU back and then it's unlocked for whatever you wanted to do to it.
People seem to get only base tunes and complain, don't bring up issues when they come up, and don't specify what they want and get all emo when it doesn't do whatever they had in mind. You have to communicate with the tuner specifically what you want and what does/doesn't work for you. Vince is a nice guy. He won't get mad or lash out for trying to get things right for you.

everyones reading but missing the bits
* he bought the LNF with a trifecta tune ( it was already tuned )
* he already had HPtuners ( the guy *** with Cavy's )
* he enjoyed trifecta but wants to get a tune for the mods he now has but going to use his HPt
because trifecta is having a slow turnaround rate for us and noticing some knock @ WOT
(therefor the ecm lock, blah screw it new ECM)

Use the search key.
...for maturity.
By problems, I meant having knock and it in general not being what he wanted. Those are problems. I'm not saying he's a noob, but from what's been said, things don't make sense.
- He didn't have to buy a new PCM
- He didn't say anything to Vince or otherwise try get another revision
This has nothing to do with his HPT knowledge.

Mmm, no. No, I didn't miss the point. He's saying the trifecta tune must suck because his 21psi tune is faster than his friend's trifecta tune which is at 25psi.

you can become a trifecta tuna for San Antonio since Vince so prudent with you
Seeing hes from good ol Sasky, I think thats why he said Trifecta is his only option. No one I know of in this province has HPT, or even the next provinces so the cable rental with Trifecta and the email tune is our best and really only option unless we buy HP Suite. Thats why I intend on going with Trifecta when my warranty is up.
My area covers San Antonio already... I service Houston, East Texas, and South Texas. I fly myself out to remote customers when needed.
I think what they mean is that he could send the logs and receive tunes through E-Mail similar to how Trifecta does it. He would have to buy the HPT software and equipment to make that happen though if he didn't know somebody with it. He'd have to pay a lot more to do it that way though if he didn't already know somebody with it that would let him use their cable and had his car already unlocked on it.
Yeah, those Red Cables, for instance, are cheap comparatively and seem to do a nice, quick job. I'm a bit jealous of people who have those actually. lol I have to have the old Black Box in order to be able to service the LSJ people. It's slower and bulkier than both the Tactrix and Red Cable, but it's the only one of the bunch that can talk to the LSJ's ECU. No sense in buying another cable if I already have one.

BTW, I thought I Was the only vic red 2010 TC in the province... glad to know there is two.
I will say it was heeter_33 if I ever get a call from the RCMP about "some guy in a red cavalier going at least 150" hahah

But yeah, I will be going trifecta. Switchable tune, possible valet mode, internet tuning, easy to change later with additional mods, etc. Its basically $1000 more to go the HPT route, for MAYBE a better tune (because Id have to luck out with a good tuner in the first place). One guy locally was going to charge me $700. I went with GMS1 for $1000 instead. :| ***** expensive up in this saskadizzle

If you buy hptuners you can tune through email with any of the hptuners willing to remote tune you. Pick one of the reputable tuners that remote tune, he sends you a base file you go datalog and email it to him, he sends you a revision and you go datalog and repeat the process until the tune is good. Best thing is you can log whenever. You don't have to meet or wait on anyone. You could learn to tune, easier said than done but there are people out there and reading material that will help you. Start off having someone that knows what theyre doing tune your car first though.
