Keep your right foot to the floor and slam the clutch in and next gear.

What year is it? My buddies '08 only NLS in competitive mode but mine will do it whenever.

I'd recommend waiting until the engine is warm bc it'll misfire if you don't. Also, I would shift a tad early bc it seems like the tach doesn't keep up so you'll be higher in the RPMs than what it actually says.

You'll get a single POP when it's done right.

You shouldn't have to be in competitive mode. Comp Mode just disables TC, Enables Launch Control, and turns down the ESC.

As a suggestion, DON'T. I've seen way too many blown motors and tranny's due to NLS. It's way too easy to accidently shift too fast or wrong and miss a gear. If you get tuned you'll really be risking your tranny if you NLS, it's tough on the car. It's fine to do stock, but I wouldn't do it if you're more than stock.

I do not think you're supposed to hear a POP if you do it FAST. When I do it slow, I hear the pop. If you go fast, you shouldnt hear anything to be honest... I don't, and it works fine for me..

If you go too slow or shift too late, you hit the rev limiter. Our tachs lag, so I start shifting at 5500-5800 range. No competition mode needed. It's always "activated."

Well my buddies '08 WON'T do it unless its in Comp mode. We don't know why. I also have read elsewhere that you should get a single POP when it's done right and when I do it right I get the single POP. You'll know bc there will be ZERO lag, the car won't bounce and you won't lose any accel or boost. Mess up any one aspect and you'll know it.

Absolutley nothing wrong with doing it stock or GMS1. The feature was engineered for the car in those two forms. I agree, wouldn't do it tuned or modded much past GMS1.

Single pop good. Two pops slow. Look in your glovebox. There's reading material for you.

How could you of had this feature in your LSJ? Superchargers have no turbo lag...

And for NLS You should be in COMP mode only. Shift as close to redline as possible, and be fast but not SUPER fast. Make sure you fully engage the clutch.

I am GMS1 and NLS does not seem to hurt the car IMO. For modded people it's anyone's guess.

No, there's suppose to be a pop. NLS just cuts spark but keeps shooting fuel. The pop usually isn't too loud if you do it right. Less unignited fuel = less violent explosion. Sometimes I can't hear it with the window up, sometimes I can. GM said a good NLS should have a pop.

Its the aftermarket clutches that kill trannys. When you nls your clutch is so strong that your giving point is the tranny.
