HPTuners is only a tool maker or they make maps by special request ?
If I need a map for my LNF can they make it or need to find an alternative tuner ?

 

hp tuners is software program and u basically do the tuning urself, unless u get someone else to do it or remote tune with someone. the other tuners like trifecta or whatever else there is out there are just tunes u upload into ur car that they do the tuning. hp tuners is ur only choice if u want to do ur own custom tuning. once again the guys selling hp tuners don't tune u, u just buy the tuning software and the hardware to do all tuning on ur own.

 

trifecta gives u options u can select in ur tune on their website. cant do nearly as much as hp. Hp u can ask the guy u choose to tune u exactly what u want. there are a few guys on here that will tune for u if u ask.

 

Any good LNF tuners here using HPT ?? Any name you guys may pass me ?

 

There are a few good ones but most people recommend terminator2 find him and pm him for details

 

He just sold his stuff, says he's done tuning unless you're a previous customer.

 

There are still a few of us kicking around.

 

We (ZZPerformance) do custom tunes and remote tuning.

 

U guys do hp remote tunes? Why am I only hearing about this now, how much

 

I don't know. We have done them for years. They were always included in the price of the ECM file, but I'm thinking since we lowered the price significantly, we should probably split the difference.

Bad idea right there. Those layer tunes are nothing but headaches. Plus I don't think Vince even offers them anymore anyways.

I got an idea, someone make a sticky of all the tuners so people don't have to ask around. be nice to go and see em all and choose who u want.

 

Damn, I go away for a year and there's no more tuners? Crazy.

The thing is, when you tune a car, the owner of the car starts to think you are responsible for all the crap that goes wrong with his/her car, all of a sudden. Even if it has nothing to do with the tune. I can understand that.

 

I sure wouldn't wanna tune anyone's car lol. Maybe small stuff like remove speed limiters and such but nothing I can be blamed for

 

Quoted for truth! That's why I have my customers sign a waiver for anything I do either it be speed limiter or a full on tune, I now only tune for close friends and family because of the headaches that come with tuning for the public.
