Hurst STS

http://www.hurst-shifters.com/hurst-...-STICK-SHIFTER

Has anybody seen or tried this shifter? Its listed for the 05-07SS/SC, but do you think it would work for the SS/TC? If its made to provide shorter shifts for the SS/SC, and the SS/TC already has a stock STS, will this shifter actually shorten the SS/TC's shifts?

Does it keep the stock rev. lock out? Is it a noticable difference in shifting? Shorter? Cleaner?

it is shorter and cleaner. Shifts are a tad shorter. You can keep the rev lockout if you would like. I did not care to keep it but there is a how to on this forum on how to install the hurst STS and keep reverse lockout

I have a buddy that took his Hurst OUT bc it was having BIG shift probs! He had to keep pushing the shifter down to change gears. He put a B&M in and LOVES it!

its good, but not worth the money. the screw they give you was **** and caused squeaky noises and the shifter to move so i had to drill in it and but a different one. takes alot of adjusting for me to get it right.

I've got the twm sts and it is amazing. can't say anything from personal experience with the hurst or b&m but I read more than enough reviews of people saying they were having problems with them.

I dont recommend installing an STS in an SS Turbo.

While the lever will physically fit the TCs have a revised(different) shifter assembly from the factory and the short throw aftermarket shifters can put tension on the cables, not good
