I love my SS/TC but I hate the sound of the clutch when shifting
yes, indeed, now, if you completely understand the line between a wastegate and a blowoff valve, you would know that noise while shifting... yes, all the way into 3rd gear .... it is the blowoff valve releasing the excess, usually due to "hard acceleration" .. lol. yeah i know man, didn't mean to sound smart, but that's what it is, and i think it sounds great for stock. a little bit of a chirp when you feel like slammin the stocker to the floor! BOV. for sure dude.
yep.. BOV. for sure man. it's just cuz of the excess boost shooting everywhere when given the gears a quick run through. nothin to worry about, and it sounds pretty cool.

and your not hearing the "BOV"
Must be the F-35 Swedish Hamster Power.
Mine does this also but it is usually when I am being gentle shifting into the gears. It just doesn't want to be driven like a grocery getter. It begs to shift through the gears like a banshee . So I do most of the time with the radio up and I don't hear a thing.
LOL

Not high performance
The new SS\TC does not have a high performance clutch. And they should be quiet when new
I have that same noise. I though it was motor mount reaching limit or something like that. Maybe im wrong. The clutch is improved (dia etc) over SSSC's, not really hi perf, but higher perf than SC, with a way better feel.
