I miss my car

So yeah, I miss my car. It has been in the shop since the thursday before last. Needs a new ECM. Bad thing is that there is not one anywhere in the United States. Gm Has to build one. My stealership says that they would just pull one off the line instead of putting one in a new SS. I find that hard to believe. They also say that my car has number one priority for warranty work...LMAO. Atleast I know now why my car has been in the shop 15 times since I bought it in July. They gave me a 09 Silverado Z71 to drive for a while, that was fun....Then they gave me a 08 Cobalt LT sadan.....it was a piece...lol But I am going to have to say that I have had the worst of luck than anyone has had with a turbo SS.......sucks to be me

Best of luck getting in back and running. Sounds like a lemon.

yea when you're under 10k miles GM treats you differently. (CSI score). We all get those surveys in the mail after you get warr work done so they will kiss your butt a little. Sorry for the problems though. Good luck.

Yeah, if your state has a lemon law I would be asking about it to get another car... that is WAY to excessive.

A single bad alternator does not make a car a lemon.

I had a turn signal burn out in the first day of ownership!!! These things happen, there is the possibility of failure on any part.

I bought a brand new alternator for a seven year old vehicle, installed it and it ran for a day and the alternator died...Bosch replaced it for free and it's worked fine ever since.

For a car to be a lemon it has to have gone in for service of the same problem x number of times without to problem being resolved. Each state is different.
