This right here ^.

Also, I know all about the nozzle size and mixture needed so don't worry lol. I'm running a 5gph nozzle with premixed meth 49/51 from snow performance (boost juice). I'm good to go whenver I tap that cp haha.

That wasn't what I meant. More volumetric air means more water and meth required to cool the charge temps. I'm using it to raise my octane number as well, not a substitute for fuel.

Op not sure if this has been said, but i found this when i was running meth, and you made me think of it when you was concerned about the injector hanging to low

The Best Water injection system and water methanol injection systems at AlcoholInjectionSystems.com

This could help out tremendously, so that you dont have to fab up a skip plate or anything like that

7gpm is massive, and way too big on the stock turbo. I did the math with injector sizes and IDC on my previous car, and supported 375 whp on 6gpm. Given that we run leaner than Evos and STIs, I guarantee we won't need as much, and certainly not on the stock turbo. Do the math with fuel usage, AFR, and calculate how much you actually need to hit 15%, which guarantees the meth will burn properly.

As far as size goes, to put things into perspective, there are folks that run that same turbo with a an M10 (10 gph). Besides, the more fuel you are attempting to add outside of the ECU's knowledge, the more you are going to screw things up. Not a fan on this car. Tom may disagree with me.

Cooling mist rates their M10 at 12gph. Thats the nozzle I was going to run.

Don't disagree at all. Prob not needed at 22 psi but I was going for Broke, pun intended.
I added 5 gpm on a 25psi tune on E60 for cooling since I was at 24* advance. Fuel trims only skewed 1-2% so it was no big deal with 50/50 meth. E60 was ~102 octane anyway so more octane wasn't needed

Other reason I was spraying was I saw how gunked up the valves were at 50k miles after two seafoam jobs along the way.

I really saw zero performance gain with the meth.

Plus the fact that we are DI alone provides additional cooling over traditional FI.

There are cars that take to WI well, and there are ones that don't. At any rate, a lot of research needs to be done by the consumer BEFORE buying and installing a kit.

I think I had a 90 at the nozzle, but that was over a year ago so I'm foggy about it.

Yep, just found a pic.

Yes, I had the nozzle installed there first before the relocate to the lower elbow. Sealed the new MAF block off plate to the pipe from the top and didn't clean up the excess RTV very well. lol.

That's a ZZP lower CP btw.
