Ignition coil cover for LNF?

Has anyone tried installing an ignition coil cover for the LNF in their SS/TC?

With Fords, the coil packs are extremely sensitive to moisture and anything wet. If you get water in the spark plug well, expect the coil pack to fail and cause misfires until you replace it. I was hoping someone developed a coil cover for the LNF seeing how there are some bolt holes available around the perimeter.

Yeah i wondered if the 2.4 covers would work, but it's doubtful.

Try MRZ to get them started on a project.

Would the DDMWorks fit our LNF's?

http://www.ddmworks.com/solstice/engine/coil_cover.html

It says it would fit the 2.4L and 2.0L LNF on the Solstice, but I am not sure if there are any differences between the SS/TC and GXP/Redline.

I believe the DDM Works cover will fit the Cobalt's LNF engine.

The solstice's LNF valve cover is PN 12606636...if the Cobalt's VC is the same obviously it will fit (I don't have the Cobalt LNF VC PN).
2.4 VC is PN 12587283 and the DDM Works cover fits perfectly.

An lnf is an lnf, no difference between them even if its on a different car, it will bolt up.

The LNF coils in the Kappas are differently shaped because they have a coil cover stock IIRC
