im hearing popping noises when i brake and accelerate

basically what the title says. Has anyone had this happen before? It just started maybe like 4 hours ago and seems to be getting slightly worse. The popping sounds are coming from what sound to be like under the shifter and engine bay. I have noticed that my passenger front shock seems lower than my driver side by like half an inch. Maybe its the shock? But if so it doesn't make any noises when you push down on it or hit a bump. Please help lol thanks guys!

If I ever hear these sounds, I guess I'll know where to check first, lol. Glad it was an easy fix.
