installed new trifecta tune

Just installed my Trifecta tune and took her out for a joy ride and all I can say is wow. Definitely puts a smile on your face when you punch it. Can't wait to get the rest of my mods installed. Thanks Vince i highly recommend his tune!

Yes, I've been working with Vince on the tune for my SC kit. He is great to work with.

22psi. Clutch isn't slipping at all. Hope it stays that way once I install my exhaust, DP, and SRI. I've already ordered everything, just waiting on it to get here.

Yeah I ordered the combo as well. Dan from CIA said the SRI's wouldn't ship out till next later next week though. At least Vince programmed the tune to run without the SRI so I could enjoy it until the intake is installed. Then he will update my tune once it's on.

Wasnt the big argument awhile back that the SRI would make more power than the CAI? Wasnt sure if people were still debating this or not.

I can spin the tires thru 1st, 2nd and some of 3rd. I also have the stock Conti's that are almost bald. Hoping to order some Nitto NT01's soon.

If your talking about just punching it in 2nd then no. You would have to be pushing some decent power to do that most likely. But remember my car is stock besides the tune right now. The mods in my sig are laying in my family room and on order haha.

Just wondering, I should be getting mine tomorrow and I'm stock as well. I had the SCT, I hope this one feels stronger. Not that the SCT was all that bad just looking for a little more! Intake, tubing and down pipe next.

All I have is the Hahn CAI and Trifecta tune, and rolling in 2nd gear, and punching it, depending on my speed, I will spin the **** out of my tires.

When you punch it what RPM are you at? I need to try it. I only did two 1st through 3rd pulls because I didn't want to overdue it (only 550 miles on my car)

I don't want to thread jack, but I was wondering the theory behind this today. It just seems to me that shorter pipe = easier to suck air through. What does high RPM or whatever have anything to do with it? (Shouldn't the physics still be the same?)

And the thing about the hot air getting taken in... Yeah if you're sitting there, but what about when you're moving and/or when all the overly hot air is sucked out? My IAT1 drops off as soon as I start moving and drops even more when I start getting on it. I'm guessing the hot air that's sitting there gets all sucked up and keeps the heat at bay for the most part until you stop/slow.

I would think the intercooler would help with final intake temps at the manifold too. It may be near ambient either way with a good intercooler.

Ideas? Thoughts?

mine spins it in 2nd with my mods and trifecta... and my iat1 temps are usually a few degrees above ambient with the AEM, but the hahn intercooler also helps alot with my IAT2's which are never usually above 10 degrees above ambient... hope this helps!!

On a f/i car im not too worried about ingesting warm air cause once it gets compressed the temp is gonna go up anyways. As long as its not taking air from behind the engine where the header/turbo is at. Its harder to suck air through a 30" pipe that has 4 bends than a 14" pipe that has 2 bends. And I think the air filter on the SRI is bigger than the CAI that takes air from inside the fender, not sure tho

What were your AIT2's at before the Haun IC?
