Installed Tr10

What a huge pain in the ass this was. Was going good til my buddy snapped a bolt in the crash bar. I don't like that I had to sand which the mounting tabs between the crash bar but whatever. It fits and looks good. Some crappy cell phone pics

nice job. I think it fills up the bumper the same. The length is the same, its the width that differs

Did you grind the crash bar at all? I had to.. it wouldn't fit unless I did.

no. the passenger side fit good however the driver side my buddy broke a bolt so we spent most of the time trying to fix that. I dont have the proper tools to get it out so we just made another hold right next to it for a new bolt and it works great.

Oh nice. when I installed mine, none of the bolts broke.. however the stock IC bolts were a nightmare out of hell with the amount of rust sitting on them lol.. but when we tried to fit it in between the crash bar, it would not fit unless it was smashed up against the radiator. So we had to grind the bottom of the crash bar so it would fit. It looks really nasty though.. Here is a pic of mine before I put the crash bar back on..

interesting. my stock intercooler bolts came out no problem. I had to rotate the intercooler towards the radiator cause it was hitting the crash bar. once i moved it back and bent the tabs some more it worked fine. the crash bar is about 1/3 to 3/4 in forward but my bumper bolted back up ok.

Yeah everything is bolted up okay in mine too I just had to grind the crash bar a little. And if you notice, the intercooler is slightly crooked in this picture, but I fixed it before putting the crash bar back on. The clip is held in between the crash bar and the frame piece.

However I ran into one problem... The driver side headlight housing.. there are 2 plug-ins..one marked as green, this one specifically.. I could not figure out where it goes and I now lost my temp reader lol. Any idea where it goes?

Edit: I figured out where it is.. Now I have to go and fix it lulz.

haha i did the same thing. there is a sensor under your drivers side headlight bracket. that is the temp sensor. I could not for the life of me figure out what that green plug went to. I am just annoyed i gotta take it all apart again lol

Lol, I looked for like an hour trying to find it! I didn't know what wasn't working until yesterday I noticed the --- where the temp normally is and I was like; "oh.. that's where it goes... oh well!"

Looks good! Wish I would have gone TR10. I'm still happy with the TR8 though!
