I agree with needing more projection. I don't know about Devils Own, but the AEM kit had a skinny little hose. And I went to LOWE'S and got some like 1/4 or 1/2 vinyl tubing and ran it inside that tube. On sharp parts in even put them into old garden hose. **** it man. If it goes through all that...I did something wrong
You could always be like me when I had my 06 SS I ran Alcohol in it and I use my Windshield washer reservoir as my tank.
So everytime I washed my windshield the person behind me was like WTF and i'd almost pass out
and WTF up with me not having "Premium Member" now? and my inbox is full
HAHA

no problem, i just wanted you to have as much info as you could get before attempting the install. Good luck and i love my D.O. 2.5g Trunk mount kit. Just watch out for the level sensor if you get it! It doesnt take much to pop it out, mine has twice!

Where'd you mount your controller?
Realistically anything after the IC is fine. You can put it right before the TB and it will work fine, unless you are using a crap system. If you have a good atomizing nozzle that isn't too big, and a proper solenoid just before the nozzle, you should not drip after the system is off. Do not cheap out and run a check valve!!!
edit: On Subarus with a top mount, you have to put the nozzle right at the TB. It works fine. Don't fret too much about it being close. As long as you're not trying to run it before the IC or MAF, there shouldn't be a problem.

They can drip or siphon, and they also reduce the pressure by the amount that is required to open them. I'm also not a fan of the materials used to make most of the checkvalves used in WI kits. Whether you use a solenoid or checkvalve, make sure it is as close as possible to the nozzle. You will drip the amount in the hose after the shutoff device.
WI is not something to fool around with if you don't understand all the risks and failure scenarios.

What im going to do is run it frum the trunk to were the rear head rest are so all i have to do is look in the mirror to see the status lights.

I think i'm gonna either mount mine like you are or under the radio next to the 12v outlet.

Yeah, thats why i'm thinking next to the 12v outlet. One because its easy to see while driving and two I just think it would be a cleaner install, which i'm worried about because they take points off for that **** at shows haha
