IC can be either used for CRYO or NOS or Water.. or recirculating Met/Water combo..

yep, the CF spoiler goes with custom CF widebody kit, nothing like the cobalt-addiction kit, its wide enuff for 11'' wheels, lm makin a time attack beast..

Get a shorter core.... 8" is the max I would even attempt to put on a car. I used a 6" tall core, sits in their just fine no adjustments needed!

And with intercoolers, you won't make anymore power over stock with just bolting it on. You tune it for the colder denser charge, is where the power comes in....

Good luck with that... I don't see it working out the way you want it to though!

My intercooler is much taller than 6" and with brackets it fit pretty easy

Yes but only using about 1/2 of it's effective cooling fins.... It's not all about size here people... it's about Volumetric Effeciency, once you realize that you'll ****!

I picked my intercooler for a couple reasons, ease of install, it's a good 1" thicker than the stock unit, plus it uses the Bar and Plate vs. Tube and Fin all equal out to better cooling in a smaller package!

My IAT's are within 12-20* of ambient temperature.... so tell me your BIG intercooler does better, I doubt that!

I thought you were saying to not get a tall intercooler because of size restriction, but I guess you were saying efficiency.

I only wish I could measure my IAT2. I will agree that your intercooler may be more efficient, but I didn't pay much for it and it still does the job.

Mine did not fit, and besides It has too much volume anyway. Stocker is 567 cu in. That IC is 864 cu in. The stock turbo has to provide the volume to fill that IC up and because the inlet and outlet are at the bottom and it is really tall the lower 1/3 of the core does the majority of the cooling anyway.

Isn't that crazy how the car adjusts itself like that. Mine is still adjusting to the fact that I gutted my Hahn catted DPa couple days ago. No codes and she spools up really fast and loud now. . I love my Synapse IC.

He bought a core and had it fabricated to fit his car. Just please do not even think about getting that Crazy Steve IC. It is a POS.

Listen, you guys got me all wrong. I am not trying to fight with anyone about my intercooler.

I see stock boost (15-16psi) so wouldn't that mean I didn't lose power due to the bigger intercooler?

I was just trying to help get a product going not increase power.

Sorry I'm a newb at turbo stuff, but if I'm seeing stock boost I'm assuming I didn't lose power with the bigger intercooler. Is this a bad assumption?

Stock tune will ensure you get the same amount of air either way so you are fine but from an overall design standpoint it is not the best IC out there. The reason I have come to this understanding is through many hours of research on IC end tanks and cores after I had issues with mine not fitting. I wanted to make sure I was getting a well deigned core and endtanks.

Yeah, my only regret is not getting one that was just a tad longer... but only for asthetic purposes only! The I/C works great.

Term I know what you mean, the car's computer is sooo finiky and adjusts soo much for every little thing... it'd be nice to know what is going on in the background though!

And BTW pulled 36.5lb/min MAF today with my makeshift shortram intake LOL

Stock air box is pretty restrictive. Just wait until you get chargepipes, Catless DP and Catback then she will really open up. I am hoping to see 39+ lbs per min next time and 350 whp hopefully.

yes its getting tuned for the dense air charge, they making a OEM sized IC - the only diff is charge piping inside the IC..

any taller than 8'' youll need to cut metal.. and ur end tanks n support bracket would have to be custom..

lets hope the LNF stage kit does what its promised - ?really edit fuel maps & learn down is turned off?, if this is the case, yo boy.. there will be alot balt going over 400+whp n easy 11/12sec 1/4..
