Intake vacuum line

How do you remove the vacuum from the intake? It's got a weird plastic clip and I'm scared to break it

You just move push the whole fitting toward the intake tube a little, then thumb the white tab over and hold it with your thumb while you're pulling away from the intake.

you know i get my taxes back in a week and could get the port n polish head with cams etc. from zzp but im scared of what was stressed so i think imma start fresh with a different car and just sell it

I think you would be fine with new rocker/adjusters or a new head. It's nothing to worry about. It's just a money-shift. No biggie. Plenty on here have done it, fixed it, and have had no more issues.
