How do you remove the vacuum from the intake? It's got a weird plastic clip and I'm scared to break it

 

which vacuum line? on the manifold or the one on the actuall intake

 

You just move push the whole fitting toward the intake tube a little, then thumb the white tab over and hold it with your thumb while you're pulling away from the intake.

and whats that suppose to mean? forgive me that it was cold outside and it was a tight fit? maybe this cars been hell and i dont need anymore problems from it? and maybe i dont need a smart ass comment either....

you know i get my taxes back in a week and could get the port n polish head with cams etc. from zzp but im scared of what was stressed so i think imma start fresh with a different car and just sell it

 

I think you would be fine with new rocker/adjusters or a new head. It's nothing to worry about. It's just a money-shift. No biggie. Plenty on here have done it, fixed it, and have had no more issues.
