*Cough* True story

Luckily there's a demand for "used" ones...

The intercooler should be ready very soon. I finished up the drawings on the mounting brackets and we are trying to get these ready as fast as possible. Matt and I have very hecktick schedules so some times it takes us longer to get parts to you guys than we would like, no excusses just the truth. For anyone wanting an upgrade wait for this intercooler, it performs awsome, biggest bolt-in on the market, and the cast end tanks ensure no blown out welds from to much boost. The day we were leaving for CED Matt had not even touched his car in weeks puts it on the dyno, makes 480whp, says "Looks good and we can still turn the boost up." The intercooler will support more power than you need, especially when your talking a direct bolt-in.

Here's a link for the op just in case you missed it. You can see how it performs in the thread.

To all those with the Hahn IC: I would hope you're not having issues at the severely bloated price of that piece. Remember: you're only one raccoon away from spending another $750.

Forgot to mention that the price will be between $300-$400 brackets included. Probly closer to $400.00

I like my quote you have up, I believe that and I have an LSJ. The LNF is quite the car. Evos would have there hands full if the LNF was awd.

lol... luckily I don't have to worry about raccoons... skunks on the other hand.....

I would really recommend putting fans behind the intercooler - too much hassle ans there really isn't a lot of clearance back there especially with the cold-side piping...but I would have to check again to see...

Well I hear from my SS/SC friends that it is a non-option for them because of heat exchanger clearance. I'm not sure about us though. I haven't looked yet either.

Hey, Ryan. I'll definitely wait for your ZZ Performance intercooler. I know that you guys make some good stuff! The downpipe that I just got from you is beautiful! Anyways, the Hahn unit is $799.99 as we speak! That's crazy! The $400 price that ZZ Performance is advertising at is much more reasonable for an intercooler. You guys make great products at great prices and it's nice to know that you guys actually drive the Cobalt SS/TC as your personal cars, so you know what works best and what sucks, unlike some companies trying to push their products on us. LOL!

Synapse is $550, isn't it? I know of at least two people that have had cracked welds on theirs, too.

read somewhere else that synapse and Hahn use the same core so if those are the choices id go with the synapse just for the price point.

Look at this sweet $800 intercooler from Hahn:

My car is currently up at ZZP getting some stuff done for my new Turbo Set-up and they're throwing their new intercooler on my car. I'll be sure to take some pics and let you guys know how it performs.
