I would imagine that spraying CO2 rather than water is way better. Problem with that setup ,that has been brough up before, is that it could get sucked into the intake and therefore throw off your AFR. My main concern about a CRYO spray, though, has always been the stress the dramatic temp changes that the CO2 causes on the IC. Its hot, then really cold, then hot then really cold. I would imagine that over time it could cause microfractures to develop on the welds leading to an IC failure later on down the line. I dont think the small gain would be worth it IMO.

I think an atomized mist of methanol or meth/water would be ideal. Especially for those who live in drier climates like Arizona, New Mexico etc. The cooling properties of methanol is amazing. The stuff evaporates so fast. If you can find it pure, spray a little on your hand and you'll realize how cold it makes surfaces. This would be good for those who don't want the hassle of meth injection but still want SOME cooling. It really would only cool the front of the intercooler so I'm not so sure how well it would cool the air going through but the front could be 20F cooler to the touch in certain climates. The other problem would be that in the long run, meth is gonna start to eat at the paint job around that area if it over sprays at all.
