I was running essentially the same thing.

Cruising was fine, you could have a normal spoken conversation, and cops would compliment me on how it sounded.

NOW...when I did anything other than cruise, it was teh loud.

It sounds just about right....it sounds ok at idle and a slow cruise...but @wideopen throttle...I hated it....on the srt4 that is...Im sure the balt sounds alittle different...but I doubt not by much. If you were racing next my friend on his drivers side with the window down...that=instant headache....lol

That is almost what the side exhaust sounds like. My Brother has a catless DP with cutout on his SRT-4 and it sounds AWESOME!!

WOT vid's to come soon. As I dont own a video camera, my buddy would have to film it. Might add a resonator to make it alittle quieter.

No drone at cruising, easy to carry on a conversation. WOT is a different story. Any "raspy" tone is from the camera, the exhaust in person has so rasp at all.

Exhaust exits on the drivers side only, the underbody on the passenger side is not shaped the same as the drivers side therefore it hangs too low. Trust me, I tried that.

Subscribed for WOT videos!! If these videos sound that good, then I believe they will sound even better in person and I might have to order that side exit exhaust.

Sorry, not really feeling how it sounds. Sounds like a Ranger 4 cylinder with a Flowmaster. Turbo does sound cool with it though.. Is that legal? In PA, only trucks can run pipes before the rear wheel..

I installed this same setup on my car about 2 months ago and I personally love the way it looks and sounds. I constantly get compliments from random people on both the sound and looks. As long as you keep the stock cat on, the sound is reasonable until you really get on the throttle and it's not raspy at all. Just ***** out throaty and mean sounding. Oh well, everyone's got an oppinion and an ass hole, and they both always stink..

well its lower than the side skirt so on some bumps/driveways/etc you'll hit it. If its hot enough you'll melt the side skirt and that thing is gonna get black as hell....

I never had any such issues with it dragging or melting plastics at all. As long as you mount it properly you will never have any issues with melting anything. Plus not to mention the exhaust temp at that point aren't hot enough to melt the skirts. Either way, as long as you're not a dummy and don't mount the pipe touching the skirt you will never have an issue. The only thing I would recomend is use either a good polishing compound or even WD40 and a scotchbright pad on a die wheel to keep it looking nice and shiny.

STUPID.... absolutely stupid, unless you address the vacant hole in your rear fascia, which no one has done so far.

In Texas, you can't have an exhaust that ends before the rear seat.

I would just cut out the bumper and lip from one cut out to the other and get it rolled like the N srt's do.
