As the title says.. do u have this and how is it? Any problems at all? I may be ordering one as early as tomorrow since my valvetrain is fubar again without any abuse, so I'm guessing there's hidden damage or the springs have been weakened, so it's time to upgrade that which is weak! Would like some opinions, preferably experienced, on this particular part, especially since it's basically the same cost as a new stock head from GM.
Thx in advance.

I'm considering cams too with all the things in my sig, I should be a beast lol. All I know about this is the cams. From what I understand is they're great power adder, but both Matt and Zoomer said they can't speak about their long term reliability. They both told me there isn't enough field testing on them because they are too new. They predict from their simulated testing that they can get to say 100k miles with constant abuse so that's way outside of normal driving conditions.

Cmiller (I believe it was him) got some cams and he said he recommends getting ZZP Valve springs instead of Supertech.

And the only other thing I can contribute is I hear that the head can stand a crap load of power, but you're probably gonna have to get the bottom end as well.

Also if you don't mind me asking, what mods and how many miles do you have on your car?

You are correct. I have the cams, haven't used them to their potential yet though. Supertech now has some springs that will fit directly with no modifications but you have to specify what ones you want. I would just stick with zzp springs though.

I've read that there's not as much power gain with the cams on the stock turbo, but I have no experience with them so I can't say one way or another, I would guess you'll see more gain with a bigger turbo

Currently pretty basic(zzp catless dp, cia hot n cold charge pipes, and k&N SRI with a trifecta tune), but future plans would include rods/pistons and bigger turbo. My valvetrain is fubar tho from the last episode I had and it seems it hasn't been completely fixed the first time.. second time around I may as well beef it up now while it's in pieces. I'm hoping to do the EFR next year as well as the bottom end.. Im hopeful that this combo will be a great addition as it is already, and even better with big turbo and strengthened bottom end next year. Didn't think there were too many ppl with this, but it seems like the logical choice at this point in time for myself. It's actually more costly to put springs alone in, than to put an entire new head in lol.. hard to believe but that's what I'm told by the Gm service manager who's going to do this work himself. I don't have the tools or knowledge to do internal engine work, wish I did, cuz then I could work on it this winter. In the meantime, I'm wasting money on a rental car while it sits in the shop.

Oh.. and I'll know about power gains on stock turbo as early as next spring.. I'm hoping to dip into the 12's with this on street tires. I currently trap 110 mph, so it should be totally possible.
