Just got back from the dyno

Im having trouble getting the graphs to work properly so Ill give the numbers then once I get the graphs to work Ill post them up.

I fabbed the short ram just so everybody is aware....its not the one K&N sells

GMS1 + KN short ram

best overall run 265whp/289wtq

I did get a couple runs with 299wtq but hp was about 10-15 lower

GMS1 + KN short ram + Bad-mab catless DP

best overall run: 276whp/313wtq

I did get a run with 278whp but tq was only like 305 or something like that...Also, I did runs with the factory airbox re-installed and midrange power decreased considerably...so although it may make the engine run a little rich, it does in fact benefit running an intake even if youre not tuned for it.

Yeah, it feels (and sounds) a lot better. Traction is now officially a problem.

Did you cut the stock intake and stick a K&N filter on it?

Nope, I used a piece of 3.25" to 3" piping and fabbed a port for the MAF, then slapped a K&N filter on the end of it. The pipe is only like 6-8" long. I do a lot of fab work and mostly did this on a whim because I was bored and had stuff laying around.

Why the dip at4300? Seems like it needs a tune to even it out a bit

It's how the air load is setup within the tune. Do a search and you can see very similar looking graphs for GMS1 cars.

OP, not bad buddy, not bad at all

your horsepower numbers are great but your torque seems a little low for some reason
