Just got my new exhaust on...!!!!
Hey guys haven't been on for a while but have been seeing tons of threads about exhaust's. ive had the parts for mine since june just haven't had time to put it on, until yesterday. i made my own using mandrelexhaustsystems.com 3" tubing kit in 304 stainless, a 3" stainless vband clamp ,a burns stainless muffler (3" inlet/outlet 4.5" overall diam and 12" long),and a polished stainless 3"-4" tip from bushur racing. andc i tig welded it all together.(if you cut it in the right places it comes out very cleanly wiht plenty of room in 2 pices.I also have a 3" catless dp. Previously i was just running the dp with a muffler delete.

as im sure most of you know the 3" catless dp and muffler delete is pretty loud.
the new exhaust from what ive gathered is about the same loudness at idle and during acel. it is alot deeper than the previous setup and definatly no where near as raspy
form 3k up it sounds extremely crisp and deep, (alot like my buddys evo9 mr with a bushur turbo back). And NLS backfires so loud(friends said blows flames no and again,but did with stock MF Del too) i will try toost some pics in a few days and a video after this weekend. My other mods are Hahn IC CP and intake , Bov shoudl be here from hahn very soon, and im on stock tune. the 3" exhaust i just put on is the only mod i have made thati can say i have noticed a significant difference in power, it feels ot me like it pulls stronger and harder up top , mid and low havent really noticed much, and shifing seems smoother, though the shifting and pull(power) may just be in my head. and last week i ran 13.97 and 13.98 in quarter im goin back this friday to try one more time with full bolts before tune. and plan to put the gm kit on as soon as im allowed to flash it at work, i tried ounce they told me they couldnt do it cause it isnt through carb yet, and my guy at gmpp said 23-83 days fomr aug. 5 im supposed to call back on the 24 of this month hopefully to get some more info and a date. so chime in and let me know what you guys think of my setup and my times at the track with what i have done . thanks guys.
