Yeah i've had mine since saturday and people have already bashed the yellow. They shut up pretty quick when they heard the turbo.

It takes a certain kind of personality to drive a yellow car. I'm not saying it's bad, I'm just saying it's different.

Welcome!

my gas gauge is weird too... once i started it it said i had 3/4 a tank. started it a few hours later it said i had a full tank.

check the door paint. it likes to peel or rub off on the inside.
my gas gauge does the same thing in my 09 SS ... jumps up and down with start by 1/8 - 1/4 of a tank sometimes... annoying so i stick to using the ODO. my brakes squeel occasionaly but that's to be expected with performance brakes.. there is a bit of paint worn off where the edge of my door meets the body... something GM told me was a common problem with misaligned door gaskets... fixed under warranty...also yellow is a pretty rare colour if it's a sedan... so let them bash the colour all they want :P

Ding ding ding! Some people just don't understand that. If you take it to the dealer they are just going to send you home.

but what if your brakes squeel and grind and leave 1/4 inch grooves in your rotors? are those what performance brakes do? screw that I want LS brakes, lol. In all seriousness once my credit card is paid off friday Im jumpin on those R1 Concepts rotors and pads deal.

So far I been driving my new 09 Cobatl SS/TC (Black) for the last two days, damn... I love it so much better than the supercharged. It was huge difference. I already dropped the KN filter in and just saving up for the Stage I to kill off the down learn feature and add more excitement to it. Still debating if I should install my TWM short shifter or not.

Just had a Injen CAI and Denso IK20's. Thinking about selling the stock airbox, which I still have in the Injen box for those who have their CAI's broken or passing the emissions.

can someone clarify whether or not this car has a short shifter from the factory or just a really short throw... i was under the assumption the cobalt SS/TC has a short throw shifter already installed.

It does have a short throw from the factory. TWM short throws reduce the height by an inch " and reduce travel between gears up to 33% for quicker time shifts.
