So I could basically have a select-a-tune HP tune?

in a sense yes... but with user control!

So a competent tuner with Trifecta add ons makes for a happy car!

^That is correct!

You can even have GMS1 all the time, then a HP Tune on Traction off then infiniboost or w/e other tune on Comp mode. (Im pretty sure)

the ecu can only hold one tune at a time.

Selectable pretty much tells the ecu when to turn on that one tune.

Its not like flipping back and forth from a variation of tunes so i am told

I was told something different when I asked. It may not hold 3 but he did say I could have GMS1 on stock sensors all the time and then select my custom tune.

Dealer kit shipped

PM'd about getting something going as an underlay to my HPT.

Could you post an exhaustive list of all the things you can control in the dealer kit? I actually emailed Vince that question like 3 weeks ago and he pretty much said "no such list".

Don't want any tuning help, just want to know what I can/can't enhance with this.

I don't blame you or TF for this, but it urks me BIG TIME I'm about to drop another load of change in addition to the 5 bills I have into HPT already, but that's another matter.

Tell me about it lol. 550 for HPT and 400 for the dealer kit with files I wanted. BUT, I bought a EBC because I was sick of the lack of function in HPT so Ill be selling that off to offset the cost. In the end it will prolly cost me 1-150 to add the options I needed

I cant tune via email with his stuff. It has to be in person!! I dont know for sure but Im pretty sure he has found a way to make each file per car just so we cant buy once and pass it around! I had to give him my serial number off of my VCM so I assume that's the case.

So if you have Trifecta is it an extra 150 - 175 to add HP goodies?

No. This is something different then just tuning over a TF tune you currently have.

Thought about going this route as well just have to find an extra $400. Tired of the ETC 1 second full opening delay and not having absolute control over the desired boost levels is annoying.
