One would think with these things all being built on the same assembly line that they would all have the same parts strapped to the engine...However...GM does not believe in that concept

Mine does not have that...Way 2 go K&N...first day on the market and it already needs a revision.

LOL I wonder how much of an easy fix it is going the be , they are going to have to design a whole new bracket . Why the hell wouldn't K&N look at multiple cars , it's like a science project , you have to gather the variables.

Whats interesting is if you go to GM Parts Direct, they only list one VC for the TC and their diagram shows no plate. Also I took a look at some Kappa chassis engine pics I could find, and they also lacked the plate.

car seemed to run better with the k&n filter instead of the AEM dryflow

Well it looks like it will be an easy fix anyway. They can just make a little bracket to go to the valve cover bolt straight under where the bolt is on the intake.
