Tonight I was driving home down I95 and this loud ass srt 4 blew by me. So naturally I caught up to him and blew by doing well over 130. I took an exit and pulled in to gas up, he parked right behind me and asked if I wanted to make a run.....Ok, what the hell! So I made sure my radar detector was on and started at 60. (this is when I wished it was on video). Dude never had a chance, lol! by the time I reached 140 he was barely in my mirror. It all comes down to this, I love my ******* car!

You do realize that a base stage 2 SRT usually traps between 104 -110 mph (depend on toys, boost leaks, etc..)..

x2, and maybe I'm just used to my RWD power, and maybe its hard to launch a FWD car, but I hate roll races and only race from a dig.

 

Rolls should stay in the bakery. Race him for real. Dig it out.

 

140 on a public road? Why can't some people just be happy about their car and not do crap like this? It's a NEON. Fast or not, it's a fugly ass car. Keep it on the track, not the street.

 

If EcoBoost is any incilnatino of what the TC with traction control can do from a dig; I don't think it'll be very pretty for the SRT; plus the power band spools like a SC not a TC.

I say advantage TC.. on a stock SRT that is..

 

on a stock srt yes.......but a srt with stage 2 and "multiple mods" no way in hell unless the skittle driver is a person with cerebral palsy

ANYwayyy... Nice job. But as the others stated, I doubt it was a stage 2. I have seen a few of these SRT-4's and they are pretty nice for a neon, I'd hate to say it, but its kinda true.

 

That has to be good for at least another 50 horses.

probly stage 2 waist gate, my older bro has an srt-4 and hes got a turbo back exhaust, stage 2 waist gate, and a k&n air filter, counts as multiple mods, but he runs high to mid 13's

I did leave out a lot of info....sorry about this. Dude told me it was a stage 2.....I know he had this loud ass catback. He also said he has a few mods, but didn't mention what they were.

YES! doing 140 on a public road is stupid, very stupid! This morning as I was driving in to work I was thinking how stupid it was and I know I will not do it again. I would lose my car, and there is no way I am going to lose my baby now.

I may have over exaggerated when I said he was way back there....lol....lets say about 4 05 car lengths. give or take one.

But thats it for the stupidness....I need to find a track close to where I live.
