Ky clutch question

Ky clutch question

Just wondering of any guys here installed a ky stage 3 and changed the clutch rod? Is it necessary?

I've installed, well I can't count lol. But no its not needed ... Unless you have a higher rating clamping force pressure plate. Normally anything below 2600 lbs of clamping force shouldn't need one. But remember. A bad master or slave will affect the outcome of peddle.

ididnt change mine and all is good.. idk why more people dont buy this clutch.... great price, preformance and feel.. cant beat that

Many do buy them, we ship many each day. I think many just dont post that they order.

I didn't change mine and I'm on the stg 3 ky clutch.

Been driving for a little over 1000 miles now with no issues. Clutch feels stock now and I can slip it just like stock as well (well, close enough to stock anyway).

Clutch rod and slave all are working fine.

This is good to hear. I was hopin I didn't have to do the clutch rod. The clutch looks amazing can't wait to install it so I can put my bnr2871 on.
